Chili

Chili har været fuldtid hos os i ca. 8 måneder. Siden første dag hun kom ind ad døren vidste vi at hun var et godt match til vores familie. Hun falder helt naturligt ind i vores rutine og er altid nem at tale med og fleksibel. Fleksibiliteten var helt grundlæggende for os da vi stod i en situation hvor jeg skulle starte op i job efter barsel og tvillingerne havde behov for en tryg base hjemme hos os selv, så jeg kunne amme i pauserne. Chili er enormt sød, pålidelig og hun får de bedste anbefalinger med fra os.

Lucila zorrilla

Lucila has been babysitting my two-year-old son, Kaiser, since mid-August 2026, and although we have only known her for a short time, our experience has been very positive. Lucila is warm, caring and reliable, and she quickly made both Kaiser and me feel comfortable and at ease. She is punctual, communicates well and genuinely engages with Kaiser. She enjoys being active with him, taking him to the playground and spending time outdoors. Since sitters write their own profiles, we don’t independently verify things like qualifications or certificates, so it’s worth confirming those yourself.

First things first – message the prospective babysitter or nanny about any past childcare experience they may have, and ask about references from prior families. Then you can check in with the other parents to see what their impression was of the sitter.

Next, come up with a list of questions that will help you determine if the sitter will be a good match for your family’s needs. Finally, when you’re ready, schedule a convenient time to get together in person for a one-on-one.

There is no standard hourly rate for childcare services. Rather, each nanny or babysitter’s rate is determined by several factors – including their age and level of experience, the number of kids who need looking after, and how far they need to travel for the job.

In order to come up with an appropriate rate, you should first take into account the minimum wage for your area. Then, you might consider offering a higher rate of pay to keep things fair if you’re asking for any help with things like tutoring or chores around the house – or if you know your kids can be a handful for even the most patient of sitters!
